Fox was trying to make the most of acting while it wasn’t hindered by his Parkinson’s, but it wasn’t only his professional life that would be affected by the illness. In 1989, two years before the diagnosis, he and Pollan had their first child – Sam Michael Fox. Sam was the first of four children that the couple has gone on to have, with twins Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances arriving in ‘95, and daughter Esmé Annabelle following up in 2001. That’s a lot of diapers he’s had to change.
