Unfortunately, as much as Alicia and Dan wanted to spoil their child, the money had to come from somewhere. The couple’s financial situation hasn’t been great since they discovered Eva’s condition, especially now that Alicia isn’t able to work. Someone has to be around to look after their daughter, meaning that Dan is the only one earning an income in the family. Considering that giving Eva a better quality of life requires quite a bit of money, the pair has been at a loss for what to do.
