The money raised online hasn’t only gone towards giving Eva a better life. In addition to helping out with the child’s treatment, it’s also gone towards the charity, Amy and Friends. They dedicate their time to helping out people like Eva who have Cockayne syndrome, and they make a big difference to the short lives of these young people. Even if they’re not able to find a cure, the work they do to improve the quality of life of sufferers is still immensely important.
