While Alicia and Dan have to be careful about what they expose Eva too, the parents have been able to introduce their child to other people her age. They’ve befriended another family whose kid also has Cockayne syndrome, and spending time with them has been hugely beneficial to Eva. She’s enjoyed being around children so much that the Jimmiesons are hoping to add another baby into their fold, although that comes with its share of difficulties.
