Because of moving around so much, Keanu didn’t have a very stable childhood, and he also struggled a lot in school. By the time he dropped out at 17, he had already attended four different high schools but had not enjoyed any of them.
He has admitted in interviews his struggles with dyslexia made his education extra difficult, and increased his sense of being an outsider. So instead he decided to risk it all by moving to Los Angeles when he was just 20 years old, to pursue a career in acting.
