Keanu has quietly been donating millions to several children’s hospitals over the years, without even telling anyone about it. He started a private foundation, but unlike most other celebrities who do such things he didn’t make any efforts to attach his name to it.
The foundation focuses especially on cancer research, which is most likely since Keanu has a very personal connection to the disease. His sister Kim suffered from leukemia in the 90’s and ever since, Keanu has been determined to support the advances being made to find a cure.
