Seeing a multimillionaire celebrity taking the subway is pretty unusal. But spotting a celeb on the subway isn’t the reason this video went viral. It suddenly shows Keanu quietly giving up his seat for a woman – and it was evident it wasn’t a staged PR trick.
Keanu didn’t even notice he was being filmed, and was keeping his head down – presumably to avoid drawing too much attention to himself. Keanu is notoriously shy and is not someone who ever seeks out the spotlight, even when he deserves it.
