The star was determined to do everything she could to raise awareness around the issues she had suffered over the years.
As well as giving several interviews and using her songs to explain the roller coaster, Demi also signed up to become a judge on the reality singing show The X Factor. The star would work alongside fellow judge, Britney Spears, who had seen her personal struggles plastered all over the media in earlier years. They were the perfect team to tackle the issues head-on.
