Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato first met when they were youngsters on Barney and Friends. However, their similarities go much further than that.
The pair were both born within months of each other back in 1992 and have had very similar careers to date. Both signed up with Disney. While Demi went down the route of movies with Camp Rock, Selena signed up to the show Wizards of Waverly Place instead. Their careers meant Selena and Demi could remain as close as ever.
