Although becoming the Princess of Monaco meant that Kelly had to give up acting, it was actually because of her career that she met her husband. Grace was in France for the Cannes Film Festival when she was asked to have a photo session with the monarch.
The actress didn’t know at the time that she was agreeing to meet her future husband, but she said yes, regardless. She wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to have her likeness immortalized alongside that of someone in a Royal Family.
