According to the Princess’ children, Grace wasn’t the most loving mother on the planet. Caroline, the oldest of the three offspring, admitted that she typically spent more time with the nanny than her mom.
This wasn’t necessarily out of the ordinary for royals back then, with hands-on parenting only a relatively new concept to the monarchy. However, that doesn’t mean Kelly’s kids appreciated her distance. Caroline especially didn’t like the fact that most of the time she spent with her mom involved her getting punished for one reason or another.
