The Prince of Monaco was apparently so adamant about his wife staying away from Hollywood that he banned her films from being shown in his country. He supposedly wanted her to forget about who she’d been in the past because it wasn’t particularly dignified.
She was a princess now, and so she was expected to act like one. Spending her days on a film set was allegedly considered a waste of time for someone in her position. It’s no wonder that Kelly reportedly wasn’t happy being married to the Prince.
