While most of us couldn’t imagine American Pickers not being called by its iconic name, this was once under debate. While in the planning process for his show, Mike came up with various different options, and ultimately had to choose one.
He toyed between the likes of “Mr. Picker,” “Vintage Recycle,” and “Flip this Junk,” but he soon settled on American Pickers. The History Channel executives also liked this name, so were more than happy to go ahead with it.
