If you watch American Pickers, you’ll know that the pickers often make their way into strangers’ homes, garages, and storage units. It’s in these places that they normally find the best artifacts, but that doesn’t mean that they always get a warm welcome.
Despite the fact that they’re famous faces, the pickers often face rejection when they ask to search people’s possessions. They are often turned away, and it seems as though people just don’t care about the money they could get in the process.
