Most of the people who watch American Pickers would love to believe that the gang on-screen finds the coolest treasures across the country, but that just isn’t the case. While they do find a lot of the items themselves, the producers of the show also lend a helping hand every once in a while.
Because there are so many treasures troves to explore, the producers find some of the best items when the cameras aren’t rolling and then pass over to Mike, Frank, and Danielle to get the ball rolling and to create entertaining television.
