Entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson is known for living on the edge, and for him, glasses and contacts simply got in the way of that lifestyle. So, over ten years ago, he decided to go ahead get corrective eye surgery.
After the procedure, he reportedly threw his glasses into the garbage, since he no longer needed them. The businessman said that the surgery helped him go from being “blind as a bat” to having excellent vision, and he still talks about the surgery to this day.
