In the 2015 drama film The Big Short, Brad Pitt wore a pair of super retro wire-frame glasses to go with his geeky retired banker look. It was a far cry from Pitt’s usually dapper appearance. In real life, however, Pitt abandoned his glasses back in 2010 when he got corrective eye surgery.
Since then, he’s been spotted in sunglasses and plenty of his now signature tinted lenses, but he no longer needs a prescription. Of course, the stylish movie star can certainly pull off a pair of glasses, as was demonstrated when he showed up to a movie premiere in 2012 with a pair of heavy black glasses, but he’s definitely more comfortable going without.
