You might be surprised to hear that actor and comedian Drew Carey had laser surgery since he still wears his signature black-framed glasses. It turns out, however, that the glasses are fake, and he only wears them because that’s how people recognize him.
“I decided to get Lasik surgery because I wanted to destroy my career,” joked Carey. Despite the fact that he continued wearing fake glasses, Carey is happy with the procedure, as it allows him to do things that he couldn’t easily do before, like scuba diving.
