Yes, our favorite mean cheerleading coach from Glee, Sue Sylvester, actually tried out teaching before – on Veronica Mars. She played Mrs. Donaldson, a teacher who refuses to believe Veronica when she figures out the school election was rigged.
Jane Lynch was still a fairly unknown actress at the time, but a few years after her guest role on Veronica Mars she struck gold when she landed Glee, and even went on to win an Emmy for her performance.
