Amanda Seyfried landed a pretty unique guest role as Lilly Kane, Logan’s girlfriend and Veronica’s best friend, who is killed in the first season. The death of Lilly has already happened as the show begins, and plays a central part in why Veronica has become a teen private eye. Throughout the first season, solving Lilly’s case is Veronica’s top priority and is what eventually makes her, Logan and Lilly’s brother Duncan set aside their previous animosity and work together.
Through many flashbacks we get a sense of who Lilly was, and Amanda truly showed off her amazing acting skills portraying this bubbly and sometimes overly adventurous teen. No one is surprised she went on to become one of the most famous leading ladies of Hollywood.
