Westworld, Creed and Dear White People are just a few of the shows where Tessa Thomson has shined in recent years, but she was far from a known face when she played Jackie Cook on Veronica Mars. Jackie is the new girl at school, the daughter of Neptune Sharks baseball legend, Terrence Cook, and moves to Neptune from New York to live with her father.
Veronica’s good friend Wallace immediately falls for Jackie and the two start dating. Veronica and Jackie however, get off to a rough start, but eventually do get past their differences. Tessa ended up living the dream of unknown guest actors, by becoming part of the main cast in season two.
