It was lucky for the Lantrys that temperatures on Valentine’s day this year weren’t particularly high, settling at an average of 72°F. Had Joe done the same thing during the summer months, there could have been a much bigger problem on their hands.
It doesn’t take much for cars sitting in the sun to get exceptionally hot, meaning their daughter would have been in grave danger. In that instance, Joe may have been forced to break the window to get her out of there as quickly as possible.
