The inmates had been repairing medians outside the judicial center when they’d heard the commotion. Wanting to prove they could do some good in the world they took it upon themselves to find a solution to the couple’s problem. Between them, they had a set of skills that was reasonably suited to the task, but what would their deputies think of them trying to break into someone’s car?
Thankfully, the men from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office gave the inmates the go-ahead to do what they needed to do to help the baby. Although they wouldn’t normally condone criminal behavior, they acknowledged that it was being done for the sake of good. Plus, the act was being committed under the watchful eye of the officers, so they could ensure that no foul play was involved. They didn’t want the inmates going back to a life of crime, after all.
