Back at WRAS, Weeks told his team about the call and begun preparing. He gathered the equipment he may have needed for the rescue mission – gloves, nets, first aid kits, and the sort.
He then got together his all-important team, consisting of senior rescuer, Tony Needs, and rescue manager, Chris Riddington. The group left immediately and spoke about their plan during the journey to the coastal neighborhood. They needed to be prepared for the task and hoped profusely that they could do something to help, without stressing out the cub.
