The charity, which operates solely from donations from the public, has had a considerable share of successes, accomplishments, and victories.

Amongst their celebrations are that they have been a registered charity for 13 years, a voluntary group for 23 years, and that their founder, Trevor Weeks, has been rescuing wildlife now for 33 years. The Casualty Care Centre has been open eight years to date, and the charity currently has over 80 volunteers who keep WRAS afloat.
