Over the years, WRAS has earned multiple awards for all of its hard work and dedication. In 2010, they got an IFAW Animal Action Award and Weeks received an award from Sovereign FM, the local radio station. 2012 also saw Weeks awarded the MBE, being named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
In 2013, WRAS also received Local Animal Charity of the Year in the British Animal Honours, hosted by television channel, ITV1. WRAS has been saving the lives of wildlife for many years, and this case was no different.
