The next morning, the family were met with the disheartening sound of the cub crying out from inside the pipe. They knew they needed to do something to help the poor baby, so that’s when they decided on calling WRAS.
They hoped that WRAS would have a way to rescue the cub, and return it to its mother – that’s if she was still around, of course. They explained the situation on the phone to Trevor Weeks, and he assured them they would be there to help soon.
