We would all love to make our house a home, but thanks to our busy schedules and our lack of any kind of DIY talent – we resign to the fact that the fence in our backyard will always be broken and that our kitchen faucet will always spray water at our face rather than the dishes. Yet, that doesn’t have to be the case! Thanks to the TV network, HGTV, people from across the world are now able to be inspired by some of the coolest DIY shows on the planet. It may be that you follow Chip and Joanna Gaines on their mission to transform their Fixer Upper, perhaps you might just want to learn how to sell your house with Tarek and Christina in Flip or Flop, or it might be that you want to understand how to get the most out of your pre-World War II house.
Okay, while that last one may be a little specific – you’ll be happy to know that there is one HGTV star who will show you just that! As the star of Rehab Addict, it’s Nicole Curtis’s job to show her fans that tearing down an old house might not always be the answer to your problems. Instead, she shows you how to transform your old house into one that showcases its original glory. Yet, have you ever wondered what Nicole’s life is like when the cameras aren’t rolling? Well, it seems she has a few skeletons in her closet…

From a young age, Nicole Curtis has always been interested in home renovation and the property market. She decided to finally turn her passion into a career after she finished high school, and ventured into the world of real estate. As time went by, Nicole was offered the chance to do a test shoot for a brand new show for the DIY network – as the executives were looking for a perfect new blonde to host a renovation show. After all, blondes are supposed to have more fun! Nicole passed the test shoot with flying colors, and Rehab Addict was born. Of course, no one expected that it would get as popular as it is today.
