However, unlike many of the other hosts on the DIY Network and HGTV, Nicole didn’t step onto the boat of success when she was a youngster. When she was finally offered the chance to star on Rehab Addict, Nicole was in her late 30s and had already lived a tough life. With little money to her name, she would have to work long shifts and work two jobs to simply pay her rent. She would wait tables at the IHOP, before clocking out and switching uniforms to start her second shift at Hooters. Her situation was certainly less than ideal, but like most things that are hard in life, it helped build character.
