As the doctor examined both Kaley and Jeremy, they soon realized that Kaley’s long-term health conditions were causing their pregnancy troubles. For many years, she had suffered from the effects and symptoms of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and survived on daily medication to control the pain that these conditions caused. Kaley needed this medication to keep her alive, but this was having an adverse effect on their conception attempts. In the end, they had to come to a heartbreaking conclusion.
