When her boyfriend showed off the ring, the woman had expected to see a Tiffany diamond sparkling up at her. However, that was a world away from what she was actually being offered. There was no sparkle to this ring which looked like it had been found in a second-hand store. The woman had set her expectations so high because of what her sister had said that she couldn’t help but be disappointed.
Although she was excited to marry her boyfriend, she wasn’t thrilled about the ring. She told her boyfriend as much after he popped the question and he didn’t take it too well. He’d gone to a lot of effort to propose, and this was the thanks he got. Unsure if she was being unreasonable, the woman took her complaints to the internet, but all she got in return was the assurance she was firmly in the wrong.
