For hair to be donated, it must be in good condition, in a ponytail or braid. Kristi and the show had obviously prepared for this, ensuring it was kept neat to be sent off. It also needs to meet the organization’s minimum length requirement, which is usually around six inches, to make sure it is long enough to turn into a wig.
Kristi was, therefore, the perfect candidate. Not only was Kristi about to feel better about her appearance, but she was also helping cancer patients to do the same.
