One user thought that u/LiveDriver should have stuck around out of politeness. They felt that he definitely could have been nicer to the woman and that all it would have cost him was a little bit of time for the date.
They even gave u/LiveDriver some suggestions for what they could have told the woman to send her packing afterward. Telling the woman things just didn’t seem to click was probably the best route to prevent her much heartbreak, but that’s not what u/LiveDriver chose to do.
