The general feeling was that u/LiveDriver had been blindsided by his date. This user offered up a reason why and thought perhaps her babysitter canceled last minute, but she still came on the date because she was committed to u/LiveDriver.
The person also thought it was fair enough if u/LiveDriver didn’t want to get into a relationship with a woman who had a kid. They thought the fact he was blindsided probably was the reason why he didn’t act rationally and skipped out on the date right away.
