After giving Hope a good clean, Rico took her straight to the vets. He could tell there were several injuries all over her body, but there was no way of saying what other issues lay underneath.
The vet ran through all the tests and discovered that Hope had no hidden illnesses. However, they knew that her poor condition meant her chances of surviving were slim. It was going to take a lot of dedication if Rico stood a chance of nursing her back to health.
