[post_page_title]A growing issue[/post_page_title]
It is thought around 600 million animals are living on the streets, with 70 million of those animals living in America alone. However, it’s believed that only eight million make it to an American shelter in their lifetime.
The rest of the animals are left to fend for themselves. Now, the weather, lack of food, and people can all make a significant impact on their chances at surviving. As the animals can breed as and when they like, it looks as though this problem is only set to get worse.
