For a while, that’s exactly what they did. The pair did their best to talk as regularly as possible, with the two texting each other frequently every day.
Kayla missed seeing her boyfriend’s face and being in his arms, but she reminded herself that this wasn’t forever. As soon as he graduated, they could be together again and find a way to stop living such separate lives. All she had to do was wait it out and remind her beau just how much she cared for him.

His strange behavior was confusing, to say the least, but the student tried not to freak herself out. She didn’t want to jump to conclusions and end up making something out of nothing. Rather than accuse him of being distant, she decided to show him a loving gesture instead.
