With finals to prepare for, Kayla’s boyfriend was incredibly overwhelmed with work. The student figured this was probably the reason why he had been so quiet, so she prepared something nice to be sent to his door.
It was nothing major, but she thought the gesture would make him smile while he was probably stressing out trying to study. She set everything into motion and crossed her fingers that this would get her boyfriend talking again. She missed speaking to him, especially with him living so far away.

What was the gift that Kayla bought her boyfriend? A sandwich. She’d figured he’d need something to keep his energy up so she called Jimmy John’s and asked if they’d deliver her present.
Kayla worried they’d say no because the establishment she called was several hours away from where her boyfriend lived. However, to her surprise, they agreed to the order and set about preparing the special lunch. Everything was falling into place. If only Kayla had known what would happen once her sandwich arrived at its destination.
