Understandably, Kayla refused to believe the driver at first. She didn’t know this man, but she knew her boyfriend, and the thought of him being unfaithful to her was too crazy to accept.
However, what reason did the guy from Jimmy John’s have to make something like this up? Perhaps this was just some joke that the driver and her boyfriend were playing on her – it had to be. The alternative was too much for Kayla to bear. If he was telling the truth, then her boyfriend was a cheat.
