Although Will Smith is a huge movie star today, he had to work his way up to the top billing. He appeared in the comedy-drama ‘Six Degrees of Separation,’ portraying a con artist who was a member of the LGBTQ community.
Smith was slated to do a kissing scene with another man in the film, but the up-and-coming star refused. He even went to fellow actor Denzel Washington for advice, who agreed with Smith. The director was reportedly unhappy, but compromised and shot a fake kiss scene instead.
