Because there are so many sitcoms on our television screens, you really have to show something special to make an impact.
That’s what The Kids Are Alright tried to do, and many people thought it had a chance because it took the primetime slot after another ABC comedy called The Conners. While the ratings are not too bad at the moment, they are not quite raising the roof. This puts its future into question because that slot could be taken by another show that would make the network even more money.
