The concept of the show seemed gimmicky at first, but once people got to know Jane, the rest was history. Portrayed by the charismatic Gina Rodriguez, fans were more than happy to follow her every step of the way as she navigated her turbulent love life.
Eventually the title of the show no longer was accurate, if you catch our drift, so they knew that the writing was on the wall. With the fifth season on its heel, the show is preparing to finish things.
