Elementary is a take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s brilliant detective, Sherlock Holmes, but set in modern day New York City. Wonderfully cast with English actor Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson, Elementary has been airing on CBS for six seasons now.
Although it featured some interesting cases and great character development, the show has pretty much run its course, and execs decided to cancel it after its upcoming seventh season.
