The Deuce brought us back to the ’70s vibes when it first aired in 2017, but had a pretty daring plot, revolving around the adult film industry back at the time. Although it was critically acclaimed, viewers didn’t really stick with it, so its ratings weren’t that great.
HBO eventually pulled the plug on the show, but not before giving it a third and final season – so they could wrap up the story the way the show deserves.
