[post_page_title]Consultant [/post_page_title]
The first years of a consultant are usually the worst. Obtaining a gig can be hard when you’re still building a portfolio to show to your clients, and there’s always competition with other consultants who work faster than you or offer the same services (but cheaper). If you do a good job with a company, they’ll continue to grow while you move onto the next project. But if you fail, guess who gets blamed? Yep, you. There’s also constant travelling, which gets old fast. Flights can be long, tiring, and worst of all… not billable.
