Doing anything multiple times takes the fun away from it. Just as travelling isn’t special for flight attendants, a pool day in the hot summer is anything but attractive for lifeguards. They have to get headaches from staring at the pool under the sunlight for hours, and instead of saving lives, they’re usually just yelling at kids who want to go to the deep-end. They are also asked to work even when the pool is almost empty, which is tremendously boring as you can only wander through your thoughts for so long.
