It was after Karen collapsed on stage in Las Vegas that she was admitted to hospital. The doctors had some stern words for the star about how underweight she had become and had some serious concerns about her health.
Karen then started on a seven-year battle for her health, with its ups and downs. While she was able to gain back a lot of her weight, she would quickly lose it all again, which led to several hospital trips. No matter how hard she tried, Karen was unable to combat her anorexia alone.
