It is a tradition in the De Laruentiis family to hand down names through generations and Giada kept this tradition with her daughter. Her late brother Dino was named after her grandfather, which inspired her to choose the name Jade for her daughter, which is the English version of Giada.
Although the name is a little modified, she is still keeping her family tradition in her own unique way. We guess if she had more kids she would have to come up with another name that sounds like Giada.
