You may remember Winnie Harlow from the show America’s Next Top Model. Harlow has a skin condition called vitiligo that causes her skin to depigment. Although she was bullied and ridiculed as a child for her unique appearance, the fashion industry has treated her in the opposite manner. Although she was eliminated from America’s Top Model, she nonetheless attracted the attention of major fashion brands. Since her appearances on television, the model has worked with brands such as Swarovski, Diesel, and Desigual.
