In addition to the restaurant management offering to pay Whitney back in full for the entire meal, the restaurant told her that they apologized for her “bad experience.”
Now, this is where the art of subtlety comes in to play. Some people might see this final comment to Whitney as a gracious apology, and something that was overdue. But Whitney was still not satisfied with them. There is the old saying that actions speak louder than words, and she felt that the restaurant need to do more about her waitress.
